Last things to do before make public a new website

Check that text is free of errors, with correct grammar and adequate vocabulary.
Check punctuation and proper usage of apostrophes and quotes.
Check that blocks of text aren’t too long and that the pages aren’t too big.
Check for the presence of any special characters and substitute them with their corresponding html code.
Verify that all hypertext links (internal and external) are valid and direct to the correct destination page.
Check that all pages have titles inserted.
Make sure you inserted a Meta Tag “Description” with a brief description for each page.
Verify that content is written with semantic markup, using Heading Tags (<hn>).
Verify that you added the Google Analytics code on all pages in the website.
Create a Sitemap.
Create the file robot.txt and use it when necessary.
Validate (x)HTML code.
Validate CSS.
Validate javascript.
Verify that the website is viewable and navigable without loading stylesheets.
Verify that the website is easily understood and useable without loading images.
Verify that the website is useable without loading javascript effects.
Check that the website is correctly viewed on the main versions of most common browsers.
Check that the website is correctly viewed with standard screen resolutions.
Send an email to yourself to verify the proper receipt.
Check that the text of the received email is as it should be.
Verify the correct function of any anti?spam filter.
Make sure that any error control parameters in form fields work correctly.
Make sure that a message is displayed to inform the user that the email has been sent successfully.
Verify the load speed and size of each page.
Verify the size of each image and, if necessary, reduce it with a photo editor to optimize it for the web.
Verify that CSS are optimized and correctly used.
Check the size of the Javascript, CSS and (x)HTML files and compress them if needed.
Personalize the 404 error page.
Create the favicon.
