Last things to do before make public a new website

Check that text is free of errors, with correct grammar and adequate vocabulary.

Check punctuation and proper usage of apostrophes and quotes.

Check that blocks of text aren’t too long and that the pages aren’t too big.

Check for the presence of any special characters and substitute them with their corresponding html code.

Verify that all hypertext links (internal and external) are valid and direct to the correct destination page.

Make sure that a message is displayed to inform the user that the email has been sent successfully.

Verify the load speed and size of each page.

Verify the size of each image and, if necessary, reduce it with a photo editor to optimize it for the web.

Verify that CSS are optimized and correctly used.

Check the size of the Javascript, CSS and (x)HTML files and compress them if needed.

Personalize the 404 error page.

Create the favicon.
